50th Vinça Music and Organ Festival from August 22 to 31, 2025

Here is the program for the 50th Vinça Music and Organ Festival , which will be held from August 22 to 31, 2025, in the Saint-Julien and Sainte-Baselisse church in Vinça.

Friday, August 22 – 8:30 p.m.

  • Arpegi duo : Nathalie Mengual (guitar) & François Ragot (cello), members of the Mare Nostrum Musicae collective.
  • Works by Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Massenet, Granados, De Falla and Piazzola (mixture of romanticism and Hispanic colors).

Sunday, August 24 – 6 p.m.

  • Go' Spell on You Choir : Gospel and spirituals under the direction of Muriel Perpigna Falzon. A mixed, intergenerational choir with over fifty singers, singing songs of hope and fervor.

Friday, August 29 – 8:30 p.m.

  • Perpignan Catalonia Orchestra and Perpignan Polyphonic Ensemble , conducted by Daniel Tosi, with Michel Chanard (organ) and lyric tenor Francis Joseph Biyong Nguene.
  • Concertos for organ and orchestra (Handel, Corette, Albrechtsberger) and Mascagni's Messa di Gloria.

Sunday, August 31 – 6 p.m.

  • The Divine Saxons : Benjamin Gaspon (flute), Jean-Paul Serra (organ).
  • Pieces by Bach and Handel for organ and flute (closing concert, baroque and intimate atmosphere).

This prestigious program combines romanticism, baroque, gospel and great orchestral works to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the festival in this village in Conflent.

Heritage Days in September 2025 near Sorède

Here is the program for the 2025 Heritage Days (September 20 and 21) in the Pyrénées-Orientales for the towns of Argelès-sur-Mer, Sorède and Collioure.

Argelès-sur-Mer

  • Guided Tours and Exhibitions : Several activities are planned, including visits to maritime heritage sites such as the sardinal boat "Notre-Dame-de-Consolation", listed as a Historic Monument. A dedicated exhibition will allow you to learn more about this iconic boat.
  • Guided tour of the Cooperative Winery : Discover the 100th anniversary of the Argelès Cooperative Winery, located on the Sorède road, at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Guided tour and discovery of the local wine heritage.
  • Other activities : Workshops, shows and unusual entertainment are offered throughout the weekend.

Sorède

  • Program for September 20 and 21 : Tours, exhibitions, and shows are also being organized in Sorède for Heritage Days. The Sainte-Assiscle and Sainte-Victoire churches will be exceptionally open to the public for guided tours, as will other monuments and emblematic sites in the village.
  • Family activities : As every year, fun activities are offered for children and families, based around the architectural and cultural heritage of the village.

Collioure

  • Royal Castle :
    • Guided tours of maritime heritage, September 21 and 22 at 10:30 a.m.
    • Night tour on September 21 at 9:00 p.m.: exceptional immersion in the royal castle, led by passionate guides.
  • Maison du Fauvisme : Guided tour to discover Collioure, Saturday September 21 at 10:00 a.m. (entrance from €2).
  • Museum of Modern Art : Open all weekend, free tours and activities around the permanent and temporary collections.
  • Exhibitions and shows : Various venues across the city will host exhibitions, guided tours, and dramatized events highlighting local artistic and architectural heritage. Most are free, but some sites require advance reservations.
  • Wine tourism : Guided tours and discoveries in the cellars of Banyuls and Collioure are also offered as part of the Heritage Days.

International Photojournalism Festival “Visa pour l’Image” in Perpignan

The International Photojournalism Festival ""Visa pour l'Image"" in Perpignan will take place from Saturday, August 30 to Sunday, September 14, 2025 .

Here are the main elements of the 2025 edition program:

  • Exhibitions :
    • More than twenty free exhibitions, accessible every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in emblematic places of Perpignan (Couvent des Minimes, Dominican church, Arsenal des Carmes, Théâtre de l'Archipel, Hôtel Pams, Palais de Corts, chapel of the Third Order).
  • A selection of reports from the greatest international photojournalists, addressing contemporary geopolitical themes, global conflicts, environmental and social issues.

Outdoor screenings :

  • From September 1st to 6th, 2025 , every evening from 9:30 p.m. at Campo Santo.
  • A recap of global news from the past year, including social issues, conflicts, climate change, historical figures, and the Visa pour l'Image awards ceremony.

The Pellicu-Live 2025 Festival

The Pellicu-Live Festival 2025 will take place from September 4 to 6, 2025 at Parc Palauda in Thuir, in the Pyrénées-Orientales. This edition focuses on the meeting of three worlds: live music , cinema (including masterclasses and screenings) and gastronomy (culinary performances by great chefs): moments of exchange with Patrick Timsit, Isabelle Nanty and Kad Merad (presence subject to change)

31st International Glass Festival in Palau del Vidre

The 31st International Glass Festival in Palau del Vidre, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, will be held from August 1 to 4, 2025. This major glass craft event will welcome more than 40 renowned glassmakers from France and abroad, who will take over different locations in the village to present their latest creations.

Visitors will be able to watch live demonstrations of various glassworking techniques, performed by experienced artisans.

Many works will be exhibited and offered for sale, allowing the public to discover the diversity and creativity of contemporary glass.

Entertainment for all ages will punctuate the festival, creating a friendly and festive atmosphere throughout the village.

During the summer, the city also offers the Summer Glassmaker, with daily demonstrations and exhibitions at the Vila House and the Glass Workshop, led in particular by students from the High Technology School of Glass Arts in Slovakia.

The Al Pati guest rooms and gîtes are pleased to welcome you! Depending on the evolution of Covid, your stay with us may be impacted by the rules linked to Coronavirus including reduced common areas (regulation of access to the swimming pool, playgrounds, kitchenette), breakfasts which will be served individually while respecting distancing. Wearing a mask will be preferable.

If you are unable or do not want to visit all the sites which welcome a large number of people, we offer you the discovery of our beautiful Department of the Pyrénées Orientales and in particular that of the Massif des Albères and the Côte Vermeille near our accommodation structure. and far from the crowds. The village center with all these shops is 1km away. Departure for hiking, cycling (greenway) and mountain biking from Al Pati.

- All our lodges and guest rooms have independent access

- All paper documents and games have been removed from the accommodation

Breakfasts

They will be served in our large 90m2 patio or the living room/kitchenette, strictly applying the rules of hygiene and distancing between tables.

Exceptionally during this post-confinement period, use of the kitchenette will be reduced and subject to hygiene rules. Our guests will be able to prepare snacks and eat them on the tables located on the terrace in front of their room and respecting the rules of distancing.

Access to the swimming pool and playground

- The swimming pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. then from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.: in order to limit the risk of transmission of the virus between bathers, disinfection measures must be accompanied by rules regarding hygiene, behavior and physical distancing as well as a limitation of reception capacity to less than 10 people.

- The bowling green will be accessible but customers will have to play with their own boules.

- The ping-pong table will be accessible but customers will have to play with their own rackets.

- table football will not be accessible for hygiene reasons.

Please note that depending on the favorable evolution of the epidemic, these rules may be relaxed.

Cancellations

We suggest you postpone your stay.

In the event of cancellation of a stay during a period of confinement, accommodation providers, according to directives from our government, are authorized to transform the sums paid by customers into credits valid for 18 months. If at the end of these 18 months you have not used your credit then we will refund it to you.
